Affiliations

The Wheeling Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL). 2023-24 is the 27th season of the affiliation agreement with Pittsburgh and the 25th season of the affiliation agreement with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Wheeling and Pittsburgh's 27 years mark the longest active agreement between ECHL and NHL teams
